Find a Debt Buddy!

Financial debt is horrible and can cause your life to be an emotional rollercoaster. The fact is that no-one wants this, and there are many people in this situation in Britain and across the world. The nature of debt means many people don't want to tell their friends, family or partner - locking it up can cause your negative emotions to worsen, and all you need is someone to talk to. Find yourself a debtbuddy to help you through the hard times and the good times. Being able to talk allows you to get things of your chest and you will always feel much better afterwards.

It is understandable why people don't want to tell loved ones about the extent of their debt. However it is important you still have someone to talk to. This is where a Debt Buddy comes in.

What is a Debt Buddy?
A debt buddy is a friend who is also in debt and understands your situation, hence the name 'debt buddy'. You may not want to talk about your situation with friends and family so finding a debt buddy is the best thing to do.

Why Have a Debt Buddy?
Talking is a powerful thing! And if you lock your feelings up from your friends and family then this can heighten your emotions. Having a debt buddy will allow you to support each other through the times that having debt can bring. You can help each other stick to payment targets and even challenge yourself against each other. Also things like when on of you accidentally goes on a shopping spree with a credit card then you can get a kick up the bum from your friend!

Having a debt buddy online is popular because their is no risk of your friends or family finding out about your debt. Communicating is very easy with forums, MSN, chatrooms, MySpace, Skype and of all the other methods. If you have a close friend who want to become a debt buddy with then you can easily go out together and meet at resprective homes. This way you can talk in person and on the phone.

Don't Underestimate a Debt Buddy
Debt can make you miserable, having a debt buddy to have a chat to or even just drop an e-mail to when things are low is brilliant. It makes you feel much better and helps you realise you are not the only one in this situation and that their is light at the end of the tunnel! Some people may laugh at the idea, but is it really that different to talking on forums and communication on MySpace - the answer is NO, but the benefits are REAL.

To find your new debt buddy it is best to search around and join some debt forums. Then get to know the members and join in the community so you become a genuine and valued member. From here you will naturally make friends and can get a debt buddy.
